Nope, I meant it as a positive approach to ignoring their posts. If they want to contribute, let they do that on other people's blog posts instead. A short reply would make you think and that could be good. And you are not rude by completely ignoring a post. Post your longer answers somewhere safe - it is a mess anyway;-) . And make sure you save what you have written. Maybe in a backup section.

Hi Asa, you mean try to get people to be more brief so busy people don't get overwhelmed with information? I'm not sure what you mean about the backup section?

Maybe we should invent a new Twitter type of reply to their blog posts. Max 444 characters or something like that would force us to think at least! And maybe we could have a backup section where we post our 444 characters. I prefer to make the change myself rather than ask them;-) Trust is a weird thing!

Maybe we could ask for a commitment from major contributors not to delete themselves when they leave.

Yes, what can we learn from that I wonder? I suppose as a pint-sized intellectual we should we able to find a great solution to parade our egos! Could we think about it maybe?

And everything that anyone wrote on his posts is gone? What a shame.

He has deleted himself yet again. He sees us as a bunch of pint-sized intellects who prefer to parade their egos rather than learn to think. His words exactly. Too many clever types disseminating technical information and enjoying the easy road of description. He'll be back, possibly disguised as Peter Pan or someone. I thought he was doing very well this time. Some one must have ticked him off. it's all 'our' fault, you see.
