Progress notes on my Operacy:
(Letter I wrote in response of the Blog entry by Foster

The government has confiscated….
Hi
I would like to propose a more constructive point of view when we make reference t our current state of government:

It is not our government that confiscates, hides and otherwise stands in the way of progress.
The hidden forces that hijacked our government are responsible.
Our form of government is the best to date ever invented and while not without faults and weakness as it is obvious now, still I would not blame the form of government we have. That is much like passing on the responsibilities.
IMHO, we are the people responsible to let the government fall in the hands of the wrong doers.
Now we should thank the powerful and mighty to provide us the lessons we had to have and with peace and respect along with full determination, we shall reclaim our own government and create a better future for everybody, including the wrongdoers who shall given the opportunity to live on reduced resources and power so they too can find pleasure and happiness once again.

Note: Map is update after watching the film
DropInbox has the updated map and anyone who wants a copy can have it.

I played in Luis' sandbox but forgot to initial my thoughts. It will be obvious though. Apply the "rule" and do with them as you wish.

oh no. I work in Windows environment running it on a Mac for hardware. Mind Manager 2012 is not yet available for MAC OS. MAC v PC thinking is out dated. Use both as each has it strength and weakness. Using both on MAC hardware is to date my best find and configuration.

Taking the dedicated branch solution a couple steps further: 1: Each participants has his/her own “sandbox” that is marked in MindManger as “Boundary”
2: One way to interact is to allow anyone to put any content anywhere in the map but the “owner” of the sand box has the final say on where to move it. IE: If I were to comment on your thought and I stick it right next to your “Subtopic” then you do have the option to move it anywhere in your sandbox, including the option to delete it. You can move it back to my sandbox (return) or whatever you like.
I rearranged the map to demonstrate the point.
3: As for the colors: Simply staying with the De Bono selected colors, while it is different than what I am associating his colors, I can accommodate and making use of his color schematic is universal within his school of thinking so why change it? (I picked random colors for the boundaries on this one)

Learning about CoRT, I am putting up my thoughts (questions, answers, observation etc) on the Operacy CoRT Map. Now what do you think how many words would it take to describe this one branch alone? For me at least it would be lengthy and what would I achieve doing it? It is already being written in the traditional way. My learning would be very limited by simply coping the text.
By putting the process of learning onto a map, I am applying my THINKING on this topic, hence I am learning.
Correlations, patterns, emerges. Associations are reviled and making use of colors, shapes to stay with the basics, the "picture" emerges. To me it is visual thinking.
Not artistic at the level that you show. Your picture is abstract. Mine is logical and easily reproducible by anyone who adhare to the legends of the map.

The point of mind map format is to PRACTICE the 6 Hat Thinking. This and any other topic I put forth is in the same spirit. Words words and more word lead to the feeling of being overwhelmed with words. Thoughts on a visual thinking format: Intriguing and gives more flexibility for individual style that promotes more thinking & ideas.
