Design Competence instead of Political Reform

"Design Competence instead of Political Reform" is an idea stated by Mr. R. Buckminster Fuller in his numerous writings such as "Education Automation" (1962). People can write all the legislation they want about stopping at bright red octagons with the word STOP on them (STOP signs) but there will continue to be accidents at the intersection until an overpass, underpass or cloverleaf is built. This idea was also applied by Mr. Fuller with respect to 'The World Game: How to make the world work for 100% of humanity'.

I'm not a good thinker. So why did I join the de Bono society? Curiosity? Interest in and agreement to some extent with Dr. de Bono's ideas? Seeking a place to practice some of what I learned from my CoRT CD, Six Thinking Hats book and the many other books I bought that were written by Dr. de Bono? Well, at the very least, I can be like the weak front and center soldiers of Alexander's army that is easily defeated by the enemy with judgement thinking, but then the enemy finds itself engulfed by real thinkers. Maybe I can pick up some thinking skills strategies and tactics from other de Bono society members. Maybe someone might have a great idea or view I've never heard of before.
I saw today that there is now an 'Effective Thinking Course" online. It looks good.
I'm interested in Education and thinking related to education partly because of my own life experiences. I would like to see learning how to think become something that people can do either through official educational channels or through unofficial educational channels.
