Making sure I know what the topic is on this site. yes, I agree with 'what can be, rather than what is.' I agree with de Bono's statement "The purpose of thinking is to arrange the inner and outer world so as to serve and improve our values." I'm not sure who the 'our' refers to and values differ, but my two central values ( which I want my thinking to serve) are active compassion and profound appreciation.
