We all see books, magazines, articles and newsfeeds about positive thinking, quantum energy and other stuff. I personally read some of that materail however, they were totally dissappointing. It is no secret that this kind of materials are now a market. "The positive thinking market."

LANGUAGES AND L.T.

While coining the term Lateral Thinking Dr De Bono gave a valid reason ,namely,that in English language the word creativity has a wider connotation so for creative thinking he preferred the use of L.T. I wonder if the degree of freedom or restriction allowed by the rules of a language have any influence on facilitating or restricting the flow of L.T. ?
