Share 'Lateral Thinking'

Hi everyone :) I'm a new member of this web. I'm interested in the Lateral thinking, but I'm a beginner :P and not quite sure how it works to develop our creativity. And if i want to try this lateral thinking approach with online learning to build up learners' creativity, how could I do?...Is there any research on this approach with online learning?...please help :) thanks in advance
