Was a bit sloppy in my wording of my interpretation of meaning of myth - should have said 'myth' is something which has absolutely no verified - not verifiable - existence - apart from in the heads of subscribers.....

Good point Kim - I have been using the word 'myth' as something which has absolutely no verifiable existence - apart from in the mind of the person who subscribes to it.
