Creative Team

Many years ago I set up a 'Creative Team' which operated for a while but died from lack of attention. I would like to ask you all to consider doing this again. 1000 creative brains! Please submit your ideas here. How you propose this would work.

Only Intelligent can be humourous

Its only the intelligent who are able to deviate from the normal thinking lines and create humour.  It requires a different kind of orientation to think in that way and that too spuriously.  It means…Continue

My apologies Leon, darn auto-correct of my word processor changed your name to Lion and just now noticed it but no way to change the post.

For about a year now I am doing this with increasingly more success. This morning I had a breakfast with number of people whom all I had to do is send out a text message to join us for breakfast, when a friend reached out to me asking for updates how things are going. Nobody was selling anything, we were discussing how to bridge the gap between mature, wise people who tend be less technically oriented with the awesome emergence of Web 3.0
IMHO these kind of meetings are happening all over the world. I am happy to be part of it.
PS: Some of the people O managed to draw into these spontaneous meetings are CEOs who regularly turn down invitations for professionally organized meetups. It is about genuine interest and willingness to share.

The move from mass media towards social media is changing the world completely from a top-down mass culture into a bottom-up culture created by each citizen’s unique contribution.

That’s how it should be.

The bottom is, say, a street or apartment/flat community which should be pro-activated — top-down mass culture made us hide, and isolate ourselves, from our neighbours.

Informal fun meetings where social media (e.g. iPad+projector) can be used to
share news and wisdom that the mainstream media ignore — in fact some citizens will gladly share (and brag with) their social media know-how with the member(s) of their community locally & globally.

Combining local and global interaction can further actualise Marshall McLuhan's “Global Village” consist of cozy, intimate and creative “glocal villages”.

De Bono’s handbooks (Masterthinker's & Positive Revolution) can be fruitfully used to manage such creative communities. — Leon

InnoCENTIVE apparently cracked the code of large scale participation and success of monetizing the connectivity service between paid interests for outsourced problem solving and the people who are so called “Solvers”. Tapping into the InnoCentive program not just as individuals but also as a collective team of DeBono Society members, doubles our individual chance to make use of our thinking skills.
This is idea # 1
The implementation of this idea to plug in as a creative team is something I started in a recent forum before I knew about the existence of this one. I continue developing an “Action Plan” modules on my end in terms of Scenarios and once I have active interest to collaborate with, I am open to do that. For leadership and project management obviously Dr. DeBono would be looked out for but being new here and seeing the date stamps on posts…. Plus some impressions I am getting listening to the podcasts…. I am not sure what to make of the ACTION-ABILITY of this group.
It seems to me that we have a less than 1% of active member participation at the site at this time. In the light of this reality, going forward would only happen if it is financed to create the tools (Mobile app and dedicated web site) that is designed to serve such collaboration among the DeBono Society members. So either someone steps forward with money and we make it happen or the members are being rallied up to support this project.
The only other option I can see is a single effort of a software developer to do all the work but that would likely to be poor regardless how good he/she is.
Vlog below is me reading this post with some extra explonation. (8:22)

Far too many responses to go through them all at this time of the morning, so my apologies in advance, if I'm repeating someone else's thoughts here, but ...

If I've correctly understood the premise of this group then what EdB is asking is for suggestions on how the (revitalised and resurgent) Creative Team would work

Well ... depending upon the swath of the term 'work', I think this very group (and siye?) are the answer, no? - Or at least part of the answer

hello . i am new member in this website ..... i think that we have to change our study about creativity etc.... by compatibleness between innate and acquired and neuroscience directly to give away tight creativeness

Yeah, I'm over-scheduled too until Dec. 15th starting in a week or so, but the first of the year I'll be free again. No reason why some of us can't get things set up toward that purpose of anticipating working on such a project in January. Turns out many of us will be free to contribute then. So I think we should target that as a time for serious work together. Meanwhile we can get to know each other at our leisure.

Asa, you're sweet to say so many nice things about me, but I've only trained to use thinking skills for myself, (Masterthinker and an earlier version of DATT,) not to teach them to others.

This platform has limitations - I'd welcome another more suitable spot to use if Danny could suggest or he could create it for that purpose.

I am a certified trainer in Hats and Lats and Datt. On the other hand the end of the year is very busy and I would not have time to do facilitation. In the new year I wouldn't mind doing it but I would like to do it on a better software platform.

Cal,

Maybe in life you should never rule out the impossible;-)

I try to think of most impossibles as being 'seeming impossibles', Asa.

I like this frog's mindset: http://www.google.ca/imgres?imgurl=http://www.salagram.net/never-gi...

Maybe it would be a good creative team logo. :)

No, I do not.

Do you have it Adonis?
