Translation error in De Bonos neue Denkschule (German)

I have just identified a translation error in "De Bonos neue Denkschule" the German version of "De Bono's thinking course".

The translation error destroys the logical statement done by Edward in the original text.
Der Übersetzungsfehler zerstört die logische Aussage des Originaltextes von Edward De Bono.
In the sub chapter "Logik" on page 110 of the 3rd German edition 2010 it is written:

Wenn wir beispielsweise nicht wissen, ob es eine Straße von A nach C gibt, wir aber eine Straße von A nach B kennen, muss es auch eine Straße von B nach C geben.

A <=====> B <=====> C

Wir verknüpfen nun diese zwei Informationen und schließen daraus, dass es möglich ist, von A nach C zu kommen.

The red part of the translation is wrong, as it implies something wrong.
Der rote Teil der Übersetzung ist falsch, denn dieser impliziert etwas falsches.

..., there has to be a road from B to C.

A <==========> C unknown
A <==========> B known
B <==========> C has to exist, is wrong!

Why?
The statement in the German text is a wrong logical implication, as the road from B to C logically does not have to exist. There could be a road from A to C (that we just don't know) or C could be on an island where neither a road from A nor B leads to C, etc.

A <==========> C possibly exists
A <==========> B known
B <==========> C does not have to exist, but it is possible to get from B to C via A, if A <===> C exists.

Warum?
Der rote Teil der Übersetzung ist falsch, denn dieser impliziert es müsse die Straße von B nach C geben, was logischerweise nicht stimmt, denn es könnte dennoch eine Straße von A nach C geben (die wir nur nicht kennen) oder C liegt auf einer Insel und es gibt weder eine Straße von A noch von B dorthin, etc.

The statement in the original English text is different:
Die Aussage im englischen Originaltext lautet anders:

For example, we may not know if there is a way from A to C. But we do know, that there is a road from A to B. We also know that there is a road from B to C.

A <==========> C unknown
A <==========> B known
B <==========> C known

By putting these two pieces of information together we can infer that it must be possible to get from B to C.

The correct translation in my opinion would be:
Die korrekte Übersetzung müßte meiner Meinung nach lauten:
Wir wissen auch, dass es eine Straße von B nach C gibt.
