Nearly thirty years after its design by Dr. Edward de Bono the Six Thinking Hats Framework is taking a step forward.
The eBook, "6-HatsThinkibility", to be written by Asa Jomard and Gijs van Beeck Calkoen, explores Six Hat Thinking in depth. And relevant scientific literature related to the thinking framework is examined.
For each Thinking Hat detailed thinking instructions and tools are given to help you perform better with that Thinking Hat. Other sources and ideas are also given. Because thinking is pattern bound, within each hat there is a need for Green Hat thinking. This will help breaking a seemingly logic thinking pattern.
As one of the first, the eBook will make full use of internet sources, like wikipages, music, pdf-files, movies, and how to's.
6-HatsThinkibilityaims at the experienced Six Hat Thinker.
However, an introduction to the Six Hat Thinking Framework is provided that is suitable for new or less experienced Six Hat Thinkers. It contains Dr. Edward de Bono's posted lectures on the YouTube, with some comments. The contents are summarized in colourful and visually attractive mind maps, which help to deepen your understanding of the thinking framework.
Part 1 is Downloadable for Free after your subscription to the 6-HatsThinkibility blog, which will give you a feeling what is coming forth.

Permalink Reply by Kim Jones on January 6, 2012 at 6:02 thinkAbility. You two intrepid types may need an old anally retentive pedant like me to check your spelling and grammar because neither of you are native English speakers. Happy to help out on that.
Permalink Reply by Asa Jomard on January 6, 2012 at 7:14 Hi Kim, it is not an Ability;-) But thanks for your kind offer to help us non native English speakers. We might need help with other things;-)
Permalink Reply by Kim Jones on January 6, 2012 at 8:22 Actually my love, I've just consulted three different dictionaries and none of them have a listing for either of "thinkibility" or "thinkability" - in fact, in typing both of these words on my Mac, the little read underline has appeared for both, confirming that my computer has heard of neither of these words! It appears you have invented a neologism. You are thus free to spell the word any way you want!
My spelling choice is based on the following straightforward recipe: thinking ability -> "think-ability" -> "thinkability".
Does "thinkibility" conjure the same connotations or is there some other reason for your spelling preference?

May we use it in our eBook 6-HatsThinkibility?
We are fond of these kind of demonstrations, and we collect examples.
